Annual Bus Trip

Each year, the Tiger Gridiron hosts a bus trip to an out of town LSU football game. This year, we will be going to see LSU and Auburn play in September. Details below.

Plans for the 2008 Auburn Bus Trip

When: Friday, September 19th at 10:00am – Sunday, September 21st at 5:00pm
(Previously Registered Members Only)

Where: Drusilla Seafood Parking Lot
Cost: $349/Person for Single Occupancy, $424 for Double Occupancy
(The Increase in Price From Previous Years is due to Increased Fuel Costs for the Bus.)

The cost of the trip includes:

Transportation to and from the game
Two nights at Wingate Inn of Montgomery
Food and beverages on trip up to Montgomery
Beverages to the game
Game ticket
Tailgate food and beverages
Breakfast will be provided by the hotel each morning
Beverages on the return trip to Baton Rouge

We will be leaving Friday, September 19th, at 10:00am from the Drusilla Shopping Center. We should arrive at the hotel in Montgomery, around 4:15pm. The Wingate hotel is located within walking distance of “Up the Creek Fish Camp”, Wings Sports Grill, and a Subway.

Game day times are still up in the air due to not knowing what time the game starts. Rumor has it, that we will be playing at night, but the official time has not been announced.

We will leave Montgomery Sunday, September 21st, at 10:00am. We will stop in Mobile for lunch around 1pm. We should be back in Baton Rouge between 4 and 5pm.

Food and beverages will be provided on the trip up to Montgomery, and at the pre-game tailgate on campus. Beverages will be provided on the bus to and from the game, and on the return trip to Baton Rouge. The breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings are provided by the hotel at no additional cost. Any other food expenses will be the responsibility of each traveler. If you are interested in bringing something for the trip or tailgate, let us know what you would like to bring so we will not have too much of some items and not enough of others.
